Your clients' data stays in your firm
yuba runs on your firm's own PC: the client files, invoices and payments are stored there, encrypted. Our server knows only your account and your licences, not your clients.
You can leave a copy of the key with us, but only if you ask.
Install yuba on your firm's PC, with us, for 14 days.
What law 18-07 covers
Law 18-07 of 10 June 2018 protects personal data. It governs how such data is processed and transferred outside Algeria, under the supervision of the national personal data protection authority (ANPDP). A firm's client files hold such data: names, identifiers, headcounts, amounts.
With yuba, these client files are not hosted by us: they stay on your firm's PC. If you choose key escrow, what we hold is a copy of the encryption key, not your client files.
yuba does not file anything with the ANPDP for you: the law's obligations remain your firm's. How we handle demo requests ourselves is set out on the Privacy page.
PrivacyEncrypted on the PC
The firm's database is encrypted. A stolen PC or a copied file does not give up your client files. The recovery key is created and kept by the partner.
30 days without internet, never locked out
yuba works normally for up to 30 days without a connection: June's outages do not stop you. After that, or if your subscription ends, it turns read-only: you read, search, print and export, but create no new invoice. Nothing is deleted.
Last connection
Everything works, for up to 30 days
30 days
Backed up every day
A backup every day, on the firm's PC: seven daily, four weekly and twelve monthly backups are kept. A restore starts from a verified backup.
Everyone sees their own client files
Each person has a role in each module and sees only the client files assigned to them. The firm's PCs reach the data PC over an encrypted connection, and the journal keeps who did what.
Export, at any time
The firm's data can be exported at any time, read-only included. Scanned documents are not in the export yet.
